Artist Statement

My work explores how color, texture, and form influence the feeling of a space. I work primarily in oil and acrylic on canvas, as well as with wood and sculptural materials, to create pieces that bring warmth and presence to their surroundings. Originally focused on portraiture, my practice has evolved toward abstraction and installation. I am interested in how art interacts with architecture and contributes to a sense of home. Each project begins with observing a space and developing visual responses that make it feel grounded and alive. Through painting and sculpture, I aim to create environments that balance structure and emotion while inviting a quiet sense of belonging.

Work

After successfully pursuing a career in digital art for over a decade (see links above), I've decided to get back to my roots and dive back into traditional art. I'm in the market for a studio space now, with the intention of nailing down a series to create a solo show.
